Hexagram preorders and less than a week to container delivery!
about 5 years ago – Mon, Mar 11, 2019 at 12:54:37 AM

Did you miss out on the Hexagram zine for The Fantasy Trip? We've sent the preview PDF to backers for feedback and will be sending the zine to print in the next few weeks. We'll likely have some extras to sell in the future, but the best way to guarantee that you do not miss out on the first issue of Hexagram, preorder today! We're mostly printing the zine to order, with some extras, so the only 100% certain way to get this is to have either already backed the campaign or to place a preorder today.

Containers Expected on Friday!

At the moment, we still expect the three containers to reach our fulfillment warehouse in Michigan on March 15th. Next weekend, Darryll heads to Michigan so that he can be in the warehouse bright and early on March 18th to oversee the packing and mailing of rewards and answer any questions that may come up. We still plan to pack and ship all of the international rewards first, followed by the distribution shipment to our warehouse in Georgia, and then close with U.S. Kickstarter fulfillment. If all goes as planned, U.S. backers will start seeing rewards the last week of March.

We'll post an update when we confirm that the containers have safely arrived.

In delivery news, we're still on track for the containers to land at our fulfillment warehouse next week and for the shipping process to start on March 18th. Darryll will be in Michigan that week overseeing the process, and he will try to post pics of the stacks and stacks of cartons being prepared to mail out. It's a lot of games!

Container(s) and Adventures Update, Pocket Box Campaign Closes Today
about 5 years ago – Sat, Mar 02, 2019 at 01:20:31 AM

First up, a report on the containers (three!) that are loaded with The Fantasy Trip and making their way to our fulfillment warehouse in Michigan. The containers are currently scheduled to train across the U.S. and expected to arrive in Detroit on March 10th. From there, they will be trucked to the fulfillment warehouse: March 15th delivery to the warehouse.

On March 18th, Darryll will be in the fulfillment warehouse working with the team there to package and begin the shipping of rewards. We still expect all rewards to ship before the end of March; international packages will, of course, require time to make their way from Michigan to the various points around the world.

The Fantasy Trip Adventures

Yesterday, we got a look at the cover to this hardcover collection of adventures for TFT. That particular project is coming together well and expected to go to the factory in March. If you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign for Adventures, we'll offer the book in later projects as well as on Warehouse 23.

Pocket Box Final Day!

With over 1,700 backers and over $230,000 in support, our Pocket Box Kickstarter project has unlocked a lot of classic Steve Jackson Games titles from the eighties. The campaign has been an amazing ride, and we want to be sure that you don't miss out on the experience; the backers have been engaged and supportive and, at times, even offered up requests and suggestions that we've been able to act on.

If you're a fan of Car Wars, Ogre, Illuminati, Kung Fu 2100, Necromancer, and more, you won't want to miss your chance to help bring back these games . . . and expansions, lots of expansions. Even the Car Wars/Champions cross-over, Autoduel Champions, is coming back into print thanks to this campaign!

Check out the project before it closes!

Delivery Update!
about 5 years ago – Fri, Feb 22, 2019 at 12:04:23 AM

This morning, we were notified of a slight shipping delay that should not affect our plans. The expected delivery date at the Kickstarter fulfillment warehouse is now March 15, six days after the most recent info we were given. The exact cause of the delay is unknown (this happens at times), but we can say that this should not affect our plans.

Why is that?

We were already scheduled to start packing and shipping Kickstarter rewards on March 18 (as outlined in this earlier update), and the new delay doesn't change the schedule we gave you last month. Darryll has arranged to spend time at the fulfillment warehouse starting March 18; he wants to be there to help make sure that rewards go out in the order we described last month.

This is a frustration on our end, but it shouldn't be a problem. We will let you know as we get more info on the three containers that are each loaded with lots of The Fantasy Trip games and accessories.

Car Wars Reprints on Kickstarter!

While we're here, we want to direct your attention to the Pocket Box games campaign that closes next Friday (March 1). Over 1,200 backers have now pledged over $140,000 to the project, and we've unlocked a lot of fantastic goodies for those of you who want to replace your lost and/or damaged games and expansions. The campaign is especially incredible for Car Wars fans; check out the big $200 reward level and just look at all of the stuff!

And for those of you who love office supplies, we now have ten different pocket folders as a part of the campaign, each decorated with Steve Jackson Games artwork from the eighties. Take a look at the campaign and join us today!

Octopus Minis!
about 5 years ago – Mon, Feb 18, 2019 at 12:10:35 AM

Fat Dragon Minis has launched a Kickstarter for 3D-printable minis, and one of the stretch goals is . . . . the Octopus! Actually, two different Octopus minis. You saw the images on the Daily Illuminator, of the ones Ben painted for me? Same minis. Lots of other good stuff in this campaign, too. And they have pointers to an inexpensive printer that they are using to create these figures.

(I kept typing OCTOUPS. That would be a delivery driver with 8 arms, am I right?)

In other TFT news, a bookchain buyer at New York Toy Fair wanted a closer look inside the Legacy Edition box and asked about carrying the game. Thanks for helping us make the set so spectacular that it got this kind of interest!
